Ijmuiden & hotspot

It had been a rainy week. When we woke up the sun was shining and the birds were singing. We drove to Ijmuiden, a harbour village on the Dutch coast. We had an awesome day there. Sea, sun & food. What do you need more?!

We drove to the west, visited some nice places in Ijmuiden. It is a real harbour city, it has loads of cute houses in some parts! After wandering around, we headed to the harbour to eat some fresh fish!

We ate at a place called 'kop van de haven' the snackbar area. I had calamaris, while the others had kibbeling (fried fish parts). Everything was so fresh and tasteful! We enjoyed the view, felt the sun on our skin. Something we hadn't felt for a long time. It was delicious...

Happy me!

Of course I brought my Kånken :)

When our mouths were filled with the goods. We had a small drive to the beach. A little walk through the dunes and there it was. The sea, in all its glory.

A little water on the sand, enough to reflect the sky like a mirror. So what happened?! A photoshoot; me, dancing and doing weird poses...

What a lovely day...

When we headed back to our hometown, we first had to drop of my cousin at the airport. We had a lovely week together! And this was a great last day

How are you doing? And do you love the sea as much as I do?
Have a nice (Valentines)day
Sincerely,
Anna
